I understand that this is a very difficult time for you and your family.  Watching your beloved pet come to the end of his/her life is terribly sad and leads to feelings of lack of control, hopelessness, anger, frustration and grief.  But having to make the final decision with the help and advice of an experienced veterinarian that will come to your home, where your pet is comfortable and surrounded by love, can make euthanasia an easier choice for all involved.

That is why Quality of Life In-home Pet Euthanasia Service, owned and operated by Dr. Deb Ellinger,  offers at home pet euthanasia through a veterinary house call for the Upper Perkiomen Valley, upper Montgomery County,  eastern Berks County, upper Chester County and upper Bucks County areas of Pennsylvania.  I wish I could travel further but I try to limit the distance to less than an hour’s drive from Lower Pottsgrove for practical reasons. See map on bottom of CONTACT page for service areas.  I can only service Pennsylvania areas because each state requires a separate license to practice there.

***I am available to discuss your pet’s quality of life and needs until 8 pm weeknights, and most weekends.  I will try to return your call as soon as possible if I am unable to answer the phone immediately. Texting is preferred when I am on the road due to spotty cell service in this area.

I do not do emergency euthanasias.  Please contact your local veterinarian or emergency clinic if this is an emergency.

I service southeastern PA only – not NJ, MD or DE.  Nor do I travel to Lehigh Valley, the Poconos, Lancaster, or Philadelphia. See the CONTACT tab for a map of my service area.

We moved in December 2025 to Lower Pottsgrove so Bethlehem, Easton and most of the Lehigh Valley is now outside of my travel range unfortunately.
